I was doing all the right things: countless therapy sessions, healthy habits, podcasts, mindset training, affirmations, but was stuck in similar cycles: people pleasing, over-achieving, and distraction to fill a void. I thought they would fill the holes that trauma created, but the pain & emotions kept resurfacing.

Let's say that you were in a car wreck and go to physical therapy for pain that resulted from whiplash in the incident. Your pain dissipates UNTIL you are in a car again and you find yourself going back to that bracing motion that you did on the moment of impact, resulting in chronic tension in the neck. 


Or maybe you were yelled at as a child or emotionally abused by a partner, and now whenever there is any sign of disagreement or conflict you get sick to your stomach, clench your jaw, and find your shoulders creep up to help shield you from the verbal blows. 


Not only will you feel this in your muscles, but you will notice your heart start to race, your mood shift, and anxiety rise... even if there is NO ACTUAL THREAT.... which changes how you show up in life. 


When we carry unprocessed emotions, old stories, and buried trauma, the body remembers what the mind tries to forget. Tension collects in the shoulders, the breath grows shallow, and the nervous system stays locked in survival mode. We feel anxious, overwhelmed, reactive… or numb. 


We lose access to our intuition, our joy, and the clarity God is trying to whisper into our hearts.


Left unhealed, these stored energies shape our choices, our relationships, and the way we move through the world. Little things feel big. We disconnect from our own bodies, and from the vibrant, grounded, Spirit-led woman we’re meant to be.

Healing can only occur when you feel safe, so establishing trust by aligning your goals with my services is essential.  We begin every session with figuring out a specific point of focus together, so you get the most out of your investment.

As difficult topics come up, we will turn the attention to what is happening within the body, finding a profound connection of physical sensations to cognitive and emotional experiences. Identifying patterns that may be keeping you stuck or causing chronic pain.

Nervous system regulation is vital to every session; followed by a combination of breathing techniques, sound, visualization, yoga, somatic exercises, and intuitive movement to move energy around, release emotions, anxiety, stress, tension and cultivate joy, confidence, and calm.

Learning new ways of thinking and acting in everyday life is what will create the lasting change that you crave. The skills aren't difficult, but they may feel unfamiliar at first so we will spend time mastering them together.

Having practices to use in your daily life is crucial to making progress on your journey, so I will provide you with specific things to focus on between our meetings. It could be a variety of things based on your needs: virtual yoga & meditation classes, journaling exercises, simple habits to implement, books to listen to...

  • The process I will guide you through is intentional and sequential (taking one step at a time) based on what is best for you.

 

What happens when you hold onto stored emotions, energy, and unprocessed trauma:


  • Chronic tension and pain. The body clamps down. Shoulders stay tight. The jaw locks. The gut is unsettled. People live in fight, flight, or freeze without realizing it.
     
  • Shallow breathing + low energy. When emotions stay buried, the breath becomes restricted. That leads to exhaustion, irritability, and feeling “stuck in your own skin.”
     
  • Anxiety and overwhelm. Bottled-up emotions create constant mental noise—overthinking, reactivity, and a sense of being on edge.
     
  • Disconnected from intuition. When you’re holding everything in, you can’t hear your inner guidance. You lose clarity, direction, and connection to your own wisdom.
     
  • Emotional numbness. Many people stop feeling the negative… but they also lose access to joy, creativity, passion, and play.
     
  • Self-sabotaging patterns. Unhealed stories replay in relationships, habits, and decisions—often leading to cycles of burnout, people-pleasing, or shutting down.
     
  • Reduced resilience. Without release, little things feel big. The nervous system becomes sensitive, and stress tolerance drops.
     
  • Loss of presence. You’re physically “here,” but not fully here—distracted, tense, disconnected from the moment.
